BizReport recently published our 2015 Holiday Shopping Study. The study was focused on our shopping mall programs. Key findings included:
Across all malls, shoppers participating in the malls’ loyalty program spent remarkably more – an average of 96 percent – when redeeming earned rewards. For example, at one mall Spring found the average non-rewards transaction to be $88.78, while the average transaction for a rewards redemption was $200.16 - a 125 percent increase.
Incentives greatly influenced the duration between mall visits. The average time between consumer transactions during the holiday was 6.17 days, but the average time between reward activation (when the shopper receives the incentive) and redemption was 2.41 days.
